The Federal Public Corporate Governance Code is a set of rules for the good and responsible management of companies in which the Federal Government holds a share and is intended to make corporate governance and supervision more transparent and comprehensible.
On 16 September 2020, the Federal Government adopted the new version of the principles of good corporate governance and active participation in the Federal Government 2020 (announcement of 16 September 2020 and in the GMBl 2021, p. 130 et seq.). These replace the principles of good corporate governance and equity participation in the federal government of 1 July 2009 (GMBl 2011, pp. 409 et seq.).
The management and the supervisory body annually declare that the recommendations of the Federal Public Corporate Governance Code have been or will be complied with and publishes an annual corporate governance report.
