This short paper deals with the costs and prices for access to fibre infrastructure rolled out in multi-dwellings after the TKG came into force. Access to in-building physical infrastructure and to existing in-building wiring supports the efficient roll-out of FTTH. If an alternative operator uses in-building infrastructure or wiring, the duplication of non-replicable infrastructure is avoided from a microeconomic and macroeconomic perspective. Shared use also avoids additional burdens for building owners and tenants. Access to the physical infrastructure is not the subject of this short paper.
